Why share accommodation?

With current property market in Australia, it is becoming harder to find affordable accommodation let alone a rental property.

Specially if you were a single parent or a student and can’t afford to have a place by yourself. Or if you already have a place but find if unaffordable to sustain due to rapidly increasing prices in utility bills and rent, then the only solution is to onboard share accommodation.

That way you reduce your rental and bill expenses by half or more if you have more spare rooms or if you join a share house with multiple housemates.

Specially for single parents, the benefits are not only limited to reducing your expense, but you could also find a good friend or a support who is willing to help you with daily chores and even babysit sometimes.

We are in strong support for single parents who might find it even more difficult to find a share accommodation or a housemate. So at Sharrying we have search filters to find only people who would not mind having kids around in the house. Or if you prefer you could only search for other single parents to share the house with.
